“With a camera, you can chase your dreams”

I never thought that when I got my first camera in the 70’s I would ever get a chance to travel to Africa to photograph the animals that I had only ever seen in books and on TV documentaries.

However, I have been very fortunate to have been twice to the Massai Mara in Kenya and I cannot explain the experience in words alone. My trips have included many hours in Slovakia trying to photograph European brown bears, new born seals in the Mull of Kintyre and Golden Eagles in the Scottish Highlands.

More recently, due to the pandemic, I have been concentrating on landscapes and enjoying the sites closer to home. The ever changing light on the Scottish landscape is something I will never get tired of.
